Inspired by my daily commute through downtown Atlanta, Homeless reflects the painful reality of people living without a place to call home. I wanted to look beyond the circumstances surrounding this older man and portray the dignity, humanity, and beauty that still remain within him.
Through vivid color and expressive movement, the painting asks us not to look away, but to recognize the person behind the hardship.
